Ao contr\u00e1rio dos metais ou pl\u00e1sticos, o silicone comporta-se de forma el\u00e1stica - estica, comprime e encolhe mais durante a moldagem e a p\u00f3s-cura.<br \/>\nPor conseguinte, a defini\u00e7\u00e3o de <strong>toler\u00e2ncias dimensionais<\/strong> para pe\u00e7as de silicone requer uma mentalidade diferente da utilizada para materiais r\u00edgidos.<\/p>\n<p>Este artigo explica que normas de toler\u00e2ncia se aplicam a pe\u00e7as moldadas em borracha de silicone, como interpret\u00e1-las, que toler\u00e2ncias pr\u00e1ticas s\u00e3o poss\u00edveis e como comunic\u00e1-las claramente em desenhos ou pedidos de cota\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<h2>Que normas se aplicam?<\/h2>\n<p>As pe\u00e7as de borracha de silicone s\u00e3o regidas por normas gerais de toler\u00e2ncia de borracha e n\u00e3o de pl\u00e1stico ou metal.
