Beyond the basics, experienced buyers also request a certificate of origin (CO) issued by the local Chamber of Commerce or customs authority. The CO states where the goods were manufactured \u2014 in our case, Shanghai, China \u2014 and can unlock preferential tariff rates under agreements like RCEP or bilateral trade deals.
